The Bath Centre for Drug Discovery unites researchers from Chemistry, Life Sciences and Computer Science to create the technologies that drive next-generation therapeutic discovery.
Our mission is to transform medicine discovery through innovative platforms and methods that support every stage of the drug discovery process. We combine expertise in synthetic chemistry, AI/ML, advanced computation, screening technologies, and chemical, structural and systems biology to develop widely applicable discovery tools. These technologies can be applied to major therapeutic challenges, including cancer, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance and neurodegenerative disorders.
Through shared infrastructure, industry collaboration and international partnerships, we translate fundamental research into partner-ready technologies, screening platforms, chemical probes and lead molecules that accelerate therapeutic discovery across academia, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry.
