Proving you're a student of the University
If you need to prove you are a student of the University you can do this in one of two ways. You can either:
download a self-service student status certificate from , as long as you are fully registered. Once you've logged into SAMIS, scroll down to the ‘Proof of Status letter request’ section. Then click on the 'Self-Service student status certificate' link. This document is not suitable for opening a bank account.
request a certified document via , as long as you are fully registered. We will email you a letter in PDF format. This document is suitable for opening a bank account or if you need to provide confirmation of your student status to a government or official body.
Any third party who receives these documents from you can email us to confirm their authenticity.
