Hybrid working
Hybrid working benefits your own work-life balance and enables us to create a thriving and caring University campus community, in which every staff member is able to work as successfully as possible in a safe and secure way. We have a hybrid working model for professional services staff who are able to carry out their work remotely.
Annual and additional leave
We offer generous holiday entitlements. In addition all full time staff are entitled to eight public holidays and an additional five discretionary days when the University is closed (pro rata for part time staff).
Family friendly workplace
For those with family/caring responsibilities, we have a package of family friendly policies which provide for flexible working, additional paid maternity and paternity leave, parental leave and leave for family emergencies.
Returning Parents Support Fund
We offer help to those returning from all forms of parental leave with the transition back into work via the Returning Parents Support Fund. We want to help mitigate the impact family leave can have on your career. The Â鶹´«Ã½ England's Enhancing Â鶹´«Ã½ Culture (ERC) Fund is there to enable you to re-establish your momentum by removing some of the barriers faced when returning to work.
The aim of the scheme is to help you free up your time to prioritise and focus on your work. Having time to resource and manage your work effectively can also help boost your confidence, motivation and wellbeing when returning to work and juggling family life.
Amenities
You'll also have access to our and beautiful walks and running routes through the campus and surrounding countryside so that you can maintain a healthy, active lifestyle working at Bath.
If you enjoy socialising, you can join our and meet fellow members of staff while you enjoy fun activities and events.
