Description: Aims:
To allow students to gain an understanding of the key concepts and processes that underpins the study and practice of physical education.

Learning Outcomes:
Students completing this unit will:
* Develop knowledge and understanding of the key concepts and processes of the PE National Curriculum;
* Understand the history and contemporary relevance of physical education in schools and society;
* Gain experience and knowledge of the acquisition and development of practical skills;
* Develop evaluative and diagnostic skills relevant to self and others.
